Terms & Conditions - Membership for Bank Retirees Community in India

Welcome to UNITED FORUM OF BANK RETIREES, the online community for bank retirees in India. These Terms & Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and membership to our community. By accessing this website and becoming a member, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Membership Eligibility:
1.1. Membership to the Bank Retirees Community is open to individuals who have retired from banking institutions in India.
1.2. To become a member, individuals must complete the registration process, provide accurate and updated information, and download the mobile application provided on the website for payment of the lifetime membership fee.

Membership Types:
There are two types of memberships.

Type 1: For 25 years duration.
Type 2: For 10 years duration.

Both types of memberships will enjoy the same privileges and access.

Membership Fee:
2.1. The membership fee for the two types of memberships to the Bank Retirees Community is as follows:

Type 1: INR 1200.00
Type 2: INR 800.00

2.2. Payment of the membership fee shall be carried out through the downloadable mobile application made available on the website.
2.3. The membership fee is non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
2.4. Any additional charges, such as transaction fees, associated with the payment process through the mobile application shall be the responsibility of the member.

Membership Benefits:
3.1. Members will gain access to the online community platform, including forums, discussions, resources, and other features provided by UNITED FORUM OF BANK RETIREES.
3.2. The benefits of membership may be updated or modified at the discretion of the website administrators. Any changes will be communicated to the members through the website.

User Responsibilities:
4.1. Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information on the mobile application, including login credentials and payment details.
4.2. Members are required to use the website, mobile application, and their features in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
4.3. Members agree not to engage in any activity that may disrupt or interfere with the functioning of the website, mobile application, or the experience of other members.

Termination of Membership:
5.1. The website administrators reserve the right to suspend or terminate a member’s access to the community for violation of these Terms & Conditions or for any other reason deemed appropriate.
5.2. In the event of termination, the membership fee will not be refunded unless required by applicable law.

Privacy Policy:
6.1. The collection and use of personal information provided by members are governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be found on the website.
6.2. By becoming a member and using the mobile application, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability:
7.1. UNITED FORUM OF BANK RETIREES shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use or inability to use the website, mobile application, or its services.
7.2. Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless UNITED FORUM OF BANK RETIREES and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their use of the website or mobile application.

Modifications:
8.1. UNITED FORUM OF BANK RETIREES reserves the right to modify or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
8.2. It is the responsibility of members to review these Terms & Conditions periodically for any changes. Continued use of the website and mobile application after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions.

Governing Law:
9.1. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
9.2. Any disputes arising out of these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata.

By accessing the website, downloading the mobile application, and becoming a member of the Bank Retirees Community, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
